Traveltainment to add user reviews
(25/09/2009)

Peterborough, September-9th-2009 Traveltainment plans to unveil user-generated content such as reviews on its booking system later this year.

Traveltainment plans to unveil user-generated content such as reviews on its booking system later this year.

Speaking at the Travel Technology Initiative conference in London, Traveltainment UK sales director Colin McKee said the system would automatically generate an email when a booking was made and invite consumers to post a review.

The user-generated content facility has already been unveiled on the system in Germany leading to 300,000 hotel reviews. The system allows users to rate hotels by cleanliness and the friendliness of staff.

The Amadeus-owned leisure technology specialist plans additional upgrades to the system, including a city-hotel engine with mapping, and a cruise engine to be launched in 2010.
