Following what is described by TravelTainment as an 'extremely successful' Travel Technology Show, where the company launched the new versions of their IBE, TravelTainment now also announces the appointment of Christy Roxburgh in the position of Sales Manager. Roxburgh comes with a pedigree in Sales and Account Management with companies including, Galileo and Worldspan.
TravelTainment Sales Director Colin Mckee says 'Christy joins our business at the right time as we are increasing our sales effort throughout 2009 and aim to establish an increased market share in all online sectors. To achieve this we need a product portfolio that is available and affordable to smaller businesses as well as the larger OTA's and Operators. Now there is a version of the IBE to suit everyone and prices start at only £250 for our IBE-smart. The good news is we have not compromised the unique features of our technology so the sub-second search and direct online booking with operators, which differentiates TravelTainment in the market, is a standard feature in all versions. In addition we have some very exciting new product additions on the horizon that will raise the bar further in terms of online search and book technology standards'.
TravelTainment's current booking platforms specialise in Package and dynamically packaged offers and provide direct connectivity to make bookings online directly with the operators. New products set for launch in 2009 include a City Hotels booking engine, incorporating graphical positioning of hotels displayed on street maps or as aerial photos and TravelTainment Reviews, user generated hotel reviews integrated within the booking path of TT's booking engines.
