Monster Travel opt for TravelTainment

Barrhead Travel Launches New Package Holiday Booking Engine

The sub-second search technology and online booking capability for package product is unique in the UK as the system provides direct connectivity with the package operators and bypasses the viewdata networks.

The online booking system is market leader in Germany and was launched in the UK last year. The versions now available to UK Agents and Operators include TT-IBEsmart, TT-IBEbasic, TT-IBEpremium and TT-IBEmaster.

Madrid, Spain, 10 April, 2008 – Amadeus, a global provider of technology solutions to the travel and tourism industry, has created a new unit to provide tools for international leisure distribution. The unit is called TravelTainment – The Amadeus Leisure Group and brings together three Amadeus leisure technology businesses: TravelTainment, Amadeus Tours, and the product management and development for TOMA, a tour package distribution solution.

TravelTainment UK to launch TravelOffice Agency System

Peterborough, February-5th-2008 – TravelTainment is presenting TravelOffice to the UK market. TT-TravelOffice is TravelTainment’s agency selling system which is based on the same technology as the Internet booking engine TT-IBE. This agent-optimised system provides access to holiday packages and late deals (last minute) of all the major tour operators within milliseconds. Furthermore, charter flights, hotels and insurance quotations can be requested and booked directly online. In Germany more than 6,000 travel agencies use TravelOffice.

TravelTainment UK to launch DataMix Dynamic Packaging Module

Peterborough, February-5th-2008 – TravelTainment is launching the DataMix DP Module for Tour Operators, Agents and on-line Retailers. DataMix dynamically packages hotel offers and flights to include DP travel offers in TravelTainment’s Internet booking engine TT-IBE and in the selling system for travel agencies TravelOffice.
