Peterborough, April-03rd-2009 Glasgow based leading travel agent Barrhead Travel have launched a new web booking engine powered by Amadeus owned TravelTainment. The sub-second search technology and online booking capability for package product is unique in the UK as the system provides direct connectivity with the package operators and bypasses the viewdata networks.
Peterborough, February-20th-2009 - TravelTainment - The Amadeus Leisure Group has now available four versions of their Internet Booking Engine (TT-IBE). The online booking system is market leader in Germany and was launched in the UK last year. The versions now available to UK Agents and Operators include TT-IBEsmart, TT-IBEbasic, TT-IBEpremium and TT-IBEmaster.
TravelTainment have appointed industry technology specialist Ed Spiers as a non-exec Director. Spiers who recently worked for Anite and previously FSS, teams up with Andrew Nicholson (MD) and Colin Mckee (Sales Director) on the TravelTainment Management team.
